(Cultivation) Heaven's Will Is a Blade

Above the Heavenly Dao lies the Divine Realm. Below the Divine Realm is the Immortal Realm. The Immortal Realm is vast, encompassing the five realms of Buddhism, Daoism, demons, ghosts, and the barren wilderness. Below the Immortal Realm are nine thousand great worlds: three thousand upper worlds, three thousand middle worlds, and three thousand lower worlds, along with countless small worlds. This story takes place in just one of the three thousand middle worlds, a world neither large nor small. A man blessed with great fortune, destined to seek the Dao in the Divine Realm, encounters his lifelong tribulation at the very beginning of his fate: a greedy, malicious soul from another world, destined to bring calamity upon the world and become an existence the Heavenly Dao abhors. He is Xie Qingyi. Xie Qingyi is ruthless and domineering, skilled at scheming and disguises, and will stop at nothing. He comes from another world of rampant materialism, a technologically advanced but resource-depleted small world beneath the three thousand lower worlds. Abandoned by the Heavenly Dao and brought to the brink of apocalypse, he unknowingly took Qin Qing's fortune. Then, deliberately, he took the best years of Qin Qing's youth, his heart, and even his entire life. Their encounter was fate, sharp as a blade. Put simply, a modern man transmigrates into a world much like one from a book. He wins the heart of that book's protagonist, then unknowingly takes away many of the opportunities that should have belonged to Qin Qing. In the end, he leaves Qin Qing behind, unable to keep up with him. Of course, he will develop a heart demon. Theme:
