General, I Want to Have Your Baby!

Announcement: After discussing it with my editor, this story will switch to a paid release on Wednesday, August 15. The paid chapters will be 25-40, so please don't buy them again if you've already read them. There will be three updates when it goes paid. Thank you for all your support so far, and please keep supporting me! Mwah 233333

Li Wan is the eldest legitimate son of the former crown prince. To ensure the peace and security of their household, his father raises him and his younger brother as girls. At fourteen, Li Wan is made a princess by imperial decree and married to Dou Yunyi, the general's son. Li Wan follows his father's instructions to the letter, keeping a low profile and staying out of trouble. But though the tree longs for stillness, the wind will not cease. The empress gives his husband several noble concubines and beauties, driving a wedge between them. It is only when Dou Kai dies in battle that Li Wan understands their feelings for each other. After the emperor's death, Li Wan's father dies suddenly, and his younger brother dies young. Struck by these losses, Li Wan wastes away and dies.

When he wakes, he discovers he has returned to the night before his wedding, after being made a princess. Li Wan vows to himself: In this life, I'd rather betray the whole world than let the whole world betray me!

Dou Kai: My love for you is witnessed by heaven and earth, the sun and the moon!

Li Wan, in queen mode: All right, the weather's getting cold. Go seize the realm and bring it to me!

(huff, puff) Dou Kai: My love, here you are, the realm!

Li Wan, in queen mode: Good. The moonlight is lovely tonight, so I'll reward you with a bun!

P.S. 1. Plenty of feel-good wish fulfillment. The two leads dote on each other, dote on each other, and dote on each other. Together, husband and wife can cut through metal!

2. It may look like a heavy story, but that's probably an illusion. The tone will stay light.

3. The bottom has a special constitution that lets him give birth to buns.

Please add my new story to your reading list! My next one will be The Little Fox Fairy Takes on Showbiz. Qiu Ling: Grandpa told him that if you accept a human's prayer, you have to grant their wish. He became Jiang Xiaomo, so he has to help Jiang Xiaomo become a superstar and give the scumbag boyfriend and the two-faced bitch a taste of their own medicine.
