[Announcement] Notice Regarding the Replacement of the Chief Mage's Supervisor.
OP: As the previous supervisor has been reassigned, effective immediately, the position of temple supervisor for Nolin, the Chief Mage, will be taken over by Temple Knight Saroli.
This change is part of the regular rotation, and all rules remain as before. Once the handover is complete, the temple will continue posting updates on the supervision process here. Please take note.
1L: Huh? They changed supervisors again and again and again? How many times has it been this year?
2L: They even said they'd post updates on the forum after the handover. The year's almost over, and nobody's lasted two weeks with Nolin. They've nearly gone through the entire roster of Temple Knights, and even their commander couldn't hack it... Why don't we guess how long this new person will last? I bet three days.
3L: I'm dying. So the handover will be over and then he'll quit, huh?
4L: Three days is way too long. I'll bet he'll quit after their first meeting.
5L: Ahhh, is Lord Nolin really that hard to get along with? He's my idol! I studied magic so hard and worked to get into mage academy because of him. I even dream of becoming his student one day, qaq.
6L: It's not that he's hard to get along with. He's just holding a grudge, that's all.
7L: If you'd saved the world, but then had to be followed around and monitored every day by a Temple Knight for some ridiculous reason like mages being easily tempted by demons, and had every word and action recorded in a supervision diary, you'd be pretty resentful too.
8L: So, does anyone know anything about this new supervisor?
9L: Nope. Don't care. He'll quit in two days anyway, so why bother?
10L: I'm still kind of curious. I heard the forum's new update lets us post pictures. If he can stick it out and keep posting updates, won't I get to see gorgeous photos of Lord Nolin?
11L: Damn, I want to see them too. Let me see!
12L: Make room, make room. Who doesn't want to see a handsome archmage?
13L: I think I've heard of this Temple Knight... He was just transferred to the royal capital, right? I saw a notice at the temple a few days ago, and also heard a bit of gossip. All I can say is, this kid is really unlucky. How many people did he offend to get picked for a job like this...
14L: Huh? What do you mean, offend people? Who did he offend?
15L: No idea if he offended anyone, but I've seen what the Temple Knight looks like. He's an absolutely textbook knight: upright, handsome, and dashing (wipes drool).
16L: What?! Now I have to know what he looks like!
17L: Really? I'm already looking forward to it!
18L: Let's try out the forum's new feature! [Temple Knight, side profile] [Chief Mage, enjoying tea]
19L:?! Please, let this guy keep at it. I want to see a new supervision post today. Please! This is really important to me!!
20L: Ahhh, why are they both so good-looking?! This is really important to me too!
[How to Enjoy This Story]
1. Knight top x mage bottom. In this setting, mages are more susceptible to demonic temptation, and if they fall, they can easily cause widespread casualties. The bottom is an archmage who once saved the world, and because of his immense magical power, he has to accept the temple's surveillance. The top is the supervisor assigned to watch him. For the full details, please check out the story!
2. It's a pure, sweet, fluffy forum-style story, cute and brainless, with a truly enormous proportion of forum posts. If that's not your thing, please don't wander in. Don't yell at me. I've brought back the old-school forum format, so please cut me some slack, QAQ.
P.S. This preorder is a rewrite of one I locked two or three years ago. JJ doesn't allow us to delete preorders, and seeing a whole row of locked preorders in the author dashboard was too painful, so I reworked it into a short forum-style story. If that bothers you, feel free to remove it from your favorites. I'm terribly sorry (bows deeply in apology).
