Tang Monk, the Chef

Tang Sanzang spent fourteen years traveling west. How could it still be the Zhenguan era when he returned? Are you kidding me!? The Journey to the West failed, and Heaven granted no merit. The mighty figures of the Three Realms joined forces, united against a common foe, obscured the secrets of Heaven, switched souls, and started the Journey to the West all over again. Can they pull it off? Heaven's Will chuckled ominously in the background: Heh heh. Zhuang Fan was an ordinary modern young man who couldn't live without meat. After transmigrating into Journey to the West, he became a monk who could only eat vegetarian food and had to go on a forced march every day. What could he do? Warnings: This version of Journey to the West is basically a joke. The Great Sage, the monkey, and Wukong all get doted on. Since immortals and Buddhas live for countless years, the disciples are all still young, with childlike, three-headed-tall forms. The characters' backgrounds are based on the original. Tang Sanzang and Wukong's appearances are based on the old Journey to the West TV series. The title is a pun, not a food story. Lighthearted at first, with no bashing or glorification. Major spoiler later: My Wukong has a powerful background, overcomes every obstacle, and becomes a sage on the spot.
