Who's Enjoying a Free Meal
Obviously, me! My tastes run toward handsome men and pretty boys, including quick transmigration, soccer, historical danmei, insectoid races, and Detective Conan.
Really Loved These
Ones I really, really love.
① Free Reads I’ll Finish Sooner or Later (BL)
They're free now, so you'd be missing out if you didn't read them. Got any recommendations? Leave a comment and let's support the authors who write for love! [This list is full, please visit list ②]
Court Intrigue, Wuxia, and Power Plays
Mostly historical fantasy settings, though I won't necessarily file them under historical fiction. The focus is on the imperial court and palace. There may be some jianghu or wuxia stories, but the court should make up more of the novel overall.
I Read Everything!
A little bit of everything!
For Personal Use
Jinjiang's mysterious collection system doesn't show everything. If I forget the title, I'll make a list on Jinjiang.
Danmei Rated Four or Five Stars Only
I'm particular about whose perspective the story follows. This list only includes novels that left an impression on me.
Even Broke Readers Need Jinjiang, Part 2
Free reads I've picked up here and there
Free-to-Read BL Reading List
All have two male leads
XXXX, but I Love the Uke
I've read mountains of trash, yet I can still find a glimmer of light in the muck.
Fine Wines to Savor Again and Again
Classic works and great stories to enjoy together.
Great Free Reads (Updated from Time to Time)
They're probably all decent. I haven't read some of them, either. They're free, so they all get five stars. This list is no help as a guide, so check the warnings before reading. My personal tastes are all over the place; I'll read anything.
Free Reads
Some decent free stories I've read, both popular and obscure, in all kinds of genres. I'll keep adding more.
For Personal Use: Maybe Bottom-Leaning
My taste is pretty dark, and I love melodrama. Every so often I enjoy a more wholesome, bottom-leaning pairing, Kun. I like gongs who dote on their bottoms.
Handsome Tops, Beautiful Bottoms: Sweet and Satisfying Reads
I love sweet couples, especially handsome gongs paired with beautiful, cute, or irresistibly charming shous. In danmei, I usually ship the shou with everyone. I read on my own and don't care about authors' drama.
Reading Log 1
As the title says.
Favorites
Definitely pretty good, worth a laugh
My Personal Kinks
I’m all about dominant, cocky, impossibly cool tops paired with aloof, icy, sharp-tongued beauties, or unhinged, devoted-dog tops paired with sweet, adorable wives.
Historical BL / Cultivation / Political Intrigue
For archiving. Characterization = romance > writing > plot. Nothing that really bothers me, as long as the couples love each other.
Completed Historical BL
No transmigrate into a book, no System, no rebirth, and no cross-dressing. Pure natives, though some chapters are locked.
A Hodgepodge for the Eclectic Reader
Both BG and BL. The star ratings are based on my personal preferences.
Historical Chinese BL
Peak perfection
I Don't Know, But I Think It's Good
Mostly BL, with a few no-couple stories, a bit of everything. I add whatever I get really into, with some commentary along the way. May all the couples here stay together forever!
Free Gems I've Read, Vol. 2
Some are original works, some are derivative works. More of these are completed, but some update whenever the author feels like it.

This year's Mid-Autumn Festival will still update the extras of "The King in Troubled Times", you can see it on Xuerou's Weibo
I really want to cry, so sad, why is it over... Don't be like this, don't be like this... I feel so broken.
Ahhhhhh, I can't bear to see Li Yan and my eldest brother die [crying] and my siblings who are the same age [crying]
It's over, so sad (many words are running through my mind), it's over and the flowers are gone
It's so good-looking [Glasses] It's the first time I watched Mr. Ji's ancient drama, it's so good-looking
When did I finish reading this book, I have no impression at all [Cracked]
