Hu Xiaohua's Disguise: The Path of a False Goddess

Hu Xiaohua is a fox spirit from the cultivation world. After accidentally falling into a spatial rift, she ends up in a martial arts world.

Because she loves to eat, Hu Xiaohua is captured by Jin Nanfei, the former leader of the Demon Sect.

And because she lacks spiritual energy and isn't strong enough, Hu Xiaohua has no choice but to become Jin Nanfei's pet for the time being.

But when Jin Nanfei discovers that his pet can bewitch people's minds, he decides she shouldn't just freeload anymore. He disguises her as a goddess, hoping to gain the emperor's trust and have him send laborers to excavate a lost secret site.

The spiritual energy in this world is too thin for Hu Xiaohua to cultivate. To speed up her progress, she can only absorb the spiritual energy carried by vengeful spirits and, in her guise as a goddess, gain the fortune generated by people's faith.

Hu Xiaohua only wants to return home, while Jin Nanfei only wants to master stronger martial arts.

As they spend their days together, feelings quietly begin to grow between them.

In the end, the secret of the hidden site is uncovered, and Hu Xiaohua finally gets her wish and returns to the cultivation world.
