Sis, Look How Delicate and Frail I Am

Zhou Pingping had barely made it through the apocalypse when she transmigrated into the body of a maid, a bloody sacrifice in someone's scheme.

Using her psychic ability, she managed to escape her pursuers, but her body was weak, and she eventually collapsed beneath a tree.

Zhao Ying'er was the daughter of the Grand Princess Anle and the heiress to the greatest trading house in the world. But after her father died, her mother remarried, and her stepfather's family wanted to seize her fortune. The quickest way was to arrange her marriage.

Until she could think of a way to escape, all she could do was pretend to be ill and recuperate at the estate. Then, by an apricot tree beside the lake, she found a strange girl. Her face was pale and her lips were colorless. When she suddenly opened a pair of bright, piercing eyes that seemed to see right through people, Zhao Ying'er's nameless irritation instantly turned into a little pang of sympathy.

Zhou Pingping was rescued by Zhao Ying'er, and during her recovery she gradually realized how difficult Zhao Ying'er's situation was. Beneath the seemingly idyllic life lay her mother's indifference and her stepfather's family's schemes. Zhou Pingping thwarted one crisis after another, both to repay her kindness and to keep her older sister from being hurt.

Watching Zhou Pingping display extraordinary powers, Zhao Ying'er took her to discover the fantastical world hidden beneath the surface. She also finally found a way to protect her fortune and free herself from her constraints.

And yet she still loved watching that silly girl. Zhou Pingping was always gazing at her with those big, red-rimmed eyes, holding her hand and saying, "Big Sister, I'll protect you."

It was simply impossible not to adore her.
