The Little Mermaid and the Great Sea Monster

The little mermaid Lisi loved to sing, but she was tone-deaf by nature. One day, she heard a beautiful song. Curiosity drew her toward the bay where it came from, and then claws sharp as blades clamped around her neck.

In the deep blue water, Lisi saw the sea monster Susu, with silver hair and pale, cool-toned skin. She blew a bubble and asked in amazement, "Are you trying to drown me?" Then she flicked her tail. "But I'm the Sea God's daughter. I can control water by nature."

Susu's voice was cold. Her sharp nails pressed against Lisi's delicate cheek. "I only want to eat sinful souls. I don't want to eat little fry like you. Get lost."

Terrified, Lisi clamped her mouth shut and quickly swam away. But then she realized she had nowhere to go. There was no Sea God's palace beneath the waves, and all the people on land had black hair and dark eyes she had never seen before.

Just as Lisi drifted dumbly across the sea, a ship suddenly stopped beside her. The people aboard shouted, "Look, a mermaid! Haul it aboard, quick! We'll make a fortune!"

Then a fishing net came crashing down over her. She tried to control the current and tear through the net, but the people aboard had already started killing one another. Lisi stared in shock and didn't even have time to escape.

The last one standing raised a knife and laughed at the sky. "One mermaid isn't enough to split four ways, hahaha!" The next second, the man laughing up at the sky suddenly grabbed his own throat and fell backward.

Susu licked the corner of her mouth and appeared before Lisi again. She looked the little mermaid with the red tail up and down, then curled her vivid red lips in delight. "You're excellent bait. From now on, you're with me."

A cute little mermaid and a demon sea monster embark on an adventure among fantastical creatures.
