[Dragon Raja] The Compass and the Blade

“Chu Zihang is a total heartbreaker,” Bai Se once told her useless junior with a world-weary sigh. “He's always flirting with people: guys, girls, and you, Junior. He flirts but never commits. But the worst part is that he doesn't even realize he's doing it. He'll flirt with you, then look at you with a perfectly serious face. After he leaves you a complete mess, you work up the courage to chase after him and tell him you like him, and he'll congratulate you for coming in first... How can he be so awful!” Junior Lu: “…” Junior Lu: “Senior, your rose-colored glasses are terrifying. Have you seriously considered asking Tomiyama Masashi for treatment, no, I mean, a chat? Honestly, even Fingel has a better chance of finding a partner before graduation than Senior does. You could cut your losses and move on to another man. Your poker-faced senior wouldn't care.” “No!” Bai Se instantly bristled. “I just want to build socialism with him! As long as he doesn't get married and have kids, I'll stick with him for the rest of my life!” Junior Lu: “...Senior, get a grip.” Get a grip. Countless people had told Bai Se those words. Everyone agreed Chu Zihang had punched a hole in her brain; otherwise, there was no explaining why she was so bewitched by a block of wood. Even Chu Zihang had awkwardly tried to let her down gently, telling her she deserved someone better and more suited to her. Too late, Bai Se thought. From the moment she started trying to win Chu Zihang over, there was no turning back. Student writing, a self-indulgent fic, no continuation. Theme:
