(Pili) Towering Alone, Striding Toward the Clouds

This novel has been abandoned. Shu Wujiu once drew a fortune stick. It read: "Towering high, I walk alone among the clouds; in the jade palace, I rank first among the hundred officials. Wealth and glory are bestowed upon you by Heaven; may your blessings be as vast as the Eastern Sea, and your life as long as the mountains." According to Dongpo's interpretation, this fortune means walking alone among the clouds, rising above the crowd. Your name will appear on the highest honors list, and you will speak of your achievements with a smile. Your whole life will be illustrious, all of it granted by Heaven. You will enjoy a generous salary and a long life, and your plans will come to fruition. According to Bixian's commentary, it means climbing among the osmanthus trees in the moon, making a name for yourself and stepping into the imperial capital. All your plans will go as you wish, and everything is certain to succeed. Shu Wujiu: But all I want is to quietly be a principal at Boundless Sea of Learning, while filling in as a teacher now and then. Then I'll turn every member of the Confucian school into my student! Warnings, beware of spoilers: 1. This abandoned novel is a mishmash of the author's many flights of fancy. Alternate interpretations are everywhere, and embellishments are as common as dogs. 2. Many of these flights of fancy came to the author while rewatching the show's setting. 3. The female lead is an academic ace. 4. I'll add more if I think of anything. Theme:
