The Tale of Genji

The head of the Genji clan, Minamoto no Yori X, a big shot whose name can't even be spoken in the world of yokai.

And a werewolf who can turn "Heian-kyo: Last Stand" into "Building the Genji Empire."

Please note:

1. A female-protagonist-centered story. The characters' views don't represent the author's.

2. Includes tsukumogami, Gudako, someone's grandson, a well, a dog, and more.

3. Don't ask about the pairing. Even I don't know. I'll write whatever comes to me.

Announcement:

I'm drowning in poverty, so I've decided to start VIP chapters at noon on December 14. There'll be a 10,000-word chapter that day. I hope you'll support me!

My ongoing fanfic, please add it to your favorites: "Primordial Chaos: Three Masters, No Water to Drink"

Upcoming story: "(Multi-Fandom) The Overpowered Hero Doesn't Want to Talk"

After transmigrating, I became an undocumented person and discovered that I had an ability called Overpowered Hero.

But it was completely useless.

After activating my ability, I didn't get broad shoulders or a powerful build, nor did I get minions and a harem bowing to my kingly aura. I was still broke, too.

Fortunately, people here have pitifully barren inner worlds. The wish-fulfillment novels that are all style and no substance haven't even sprouted yet, so even a third-rate writer can make a living writing overpowered-hero stories.

It would be even better if readers didn't somehow teach themselves the art of demanding updates.

Please note:

1. The heroine's name is Long Aotian (yes, really). She's a sweet, naive girl being crushed by life and work.

2. She's a homebody, but not an otaku. She doesn't know the setting and thinks she's transmigrated into a parallel world where spiritual qi is reviving.

3. To keep Aotian safe and happy, her ability is written as Overpowered Hero and read as a Brainwashing Aura.

4. The setting includes Yokohama stories, the Root Princess, a bootleg liquor factory, rainbow babies, and more.
