The Scum Top's Love Affairs

Forget it, I won't call you a scumbag anymore. He was just a poor abandoned man. Liang Yu would not choose him. Even if I had liked him and had sex with him, I would not have chosen him as my lifelong partner. So Xiao Hao was destined to lose his love. He still has self-respect in front of Liang Yu, so he will not stalk him or destroy Liang Yu at all costs. This can be regarded as the protection he can do. There are gains and losses in life. Liang Yu gained worldly success and happiness, but he must lose his shocking and heart-stirring love. This would be his rational choice. Xiao Hao also has a choice, choose to improve his self-esteem and self-improvement, or waste his life by drinking and having sex. He chose the latter. I am also very lucky to have a lover who can take him as the center, become his core, and be obedient to him. Hope he cherishes it well.

# An in-depth interpretation of "The Story of Scumbag": He is not a scumbag, he just can't say "please love me" > This article is based on a complete reading of 125 chapters of Cheng Ziyu's "Zha Gong Love History" and proposes a set of in-depth interpretation framework that is different from superficial narratives. Core argument: Xiao Hao is not a "scumbag", he is a person locked in the trauma of his first love, waiting in silence for more than ten years for someone who can walk in on his own. ## 1. Origin: What Liang Yu taught him Everything starts with Liang Yu. In high school, Xiao Hao had no reservations - writing a suicide note for Liang Yu, jumping into a lake, eloping, and revealing his truest self in front of another person. As a result, Liang Yu saw all of him, and then chose a "normal life": marry a wife, work in politics, and have daughters. If Liang Yu just doesn't love, this wound can still be healed. But he named his daughter "Liang Qing" - taken from their shared youth dream "Qinggang". One word proves it: He loved. He just rationally chose the latter between "loving Xiao Hao" and "being a socially accepted person". **It's not "you don't love me", but "you love me, but loving me is not worth giving up a 'normal' life for." ** The trauma of "being selectively given up after being fully understood" is much more devastating than "never being loved". It taught young Xiao Hao a lifelong fear: the real me will be abandoned after being seen. ** From then on, Xiao Hao learned two things: 1. Give your heart directly, the other party doesn't necessarily want it. 2. You can no longer take the initiative. ## 2. Core Paradox: Say it and you won't get it After Liang Yu, what Xiao Hao needs is actually extremely simple - someone loves him from the heart, actively and purely. But this demand has a fatal premise: he cannot ask for it. ** Because once he says "please love me with all your heart", whatever the other party gives him next is no longer "spontaneous" - it becomes a response, a cooperation after being asked. Just like you can't say "please be natural" to a person, once he deliberately goes "natural", he is no longer natural. What Xiao Hao wants is **spontaneous love**. And spontaneous love, once it is asked for, immediately deteriorates. So he's trapped in a perfect cage: he knows exactly what he needs, but he can never say it. If you say it, you won't get it. **This paradox is the starting point of all the problems in the book. ** ## 3. Bait and hook: the true function of perfect personality Xiao Hao's gentle and considerate, generous and perfect lover image - everyone thought that this was because he was "enjoying love" or that he was "proficient in seducing people". None. This is his **fishing bait**. He can't say, "Please see through my disguise and love me for who I am," so he can only project a carefully crafted image of perfection and wait. Wait until a person can penetrate this layer of perfection and see the real, angular, mean and awkward self behind it. Everyone who took the bait - Chen Du, Wei Yang, those brief flings - they fell in love with that character, not Xiao Hao himself. Every time Xiao Hao found out that the other person was in love with bait, he knew: He is not this person. ** Then pull out the pole and leave. Not because of "scum", not because of "enough fun". It's because——**The person you love is not me at all. ** What Cheng Qi bit was not bait, but a hook. The hook is the sharp, painful, real thing inside the bait. As soon as Cheng Qi came up, he said "face me as you are" - he penetrated that layer of perfection and bit into the real Xiao Hao inside. Biting the bait does not hurt. Biting the hook hurts. Cheng Qi has been in pain for four years. But he never relented. ## 4. Every cliff is a test question: reread Xiao Hao's "scumbag" behavior If you accept the above framework, the meaning of every cliff-hanging disappearance and breakup of Xiao Hao will be completely reversed. **Key evidence: He was in pain every time. ** It is easy for a person who really wants to leave. Every time Xiao Hao breaks up, he is accompanied by great pain. The pain itself is the answer - ** He doesn't want to leave, he wants to be left behind. ** But he can't say "please keep me". He said that if the other party stayed, he didn't know whether it was sincere or a request. So he can only use "leave" to express "stay", "push away" to express "hold me tight", and "I don't want you anymore" to express "please don't let me go". Let's look at them one by one: ### With Chen Du "Three no's policy" - no recognition, no rejection, no initiative. The door was ajar and never locked. He was waiting for Chen Du to open the door and come in. But Chen Du had been standing outside the door for more than ten years, heartbreakingly loyal, but he had never pushed the door open. He just waited for Xiao Hao to drive. Both of them were waiting for the other to make the first move. Stiff. ### With Wei Yang After being dumped, Wei Yang attempted suicide. What Xiao Hao wants is "You come after me, you come to prove that it is me you love." What Wei Yang gave him was "If you don't want me, I'll die." This is not chasing, this is escaping. Retention in exchange for the threat of death is the furthest thing from "pure" in this world. ### With Cheng Qi (first time) The most critical cliffhanger in the whole book. After meeting Liang Yu in kindergarten, he completely broke down, started to attack Cheng, and broke up with her. Superficial interpretation: An old love relapses, and the truth about the substitute is exposed. Deep interpretation: He pushed Cheng Qi away at the most painful, ugliest, and most broken moment——**This is a test question: I am at my worst now, do you still want me? ** Cheng Qi left. Don't blame him, he couldn't read the language at that time. ### Follow Cheng Qi (second time) After Cheng Qi came back, Xiao Hao repeatedly asked questions: - Losing your temper - can you leave? ** Didn't leave. ** - Acting like a spoiled brat - are you annoyed? **No worries. ** - Asked to resign - you never comply? **No idea. But he didn't leave either. ** - KTV is ambiguous with others - can you bear it? **Bear it. But I cried when I reached the end of the corridor. ** **Every time he asked the same question: Are you serious? ** ## 5. Why others fail: It's not that they don't love, it's that they are not pure ### Chen Du's problem: Economic dependence pollutes love I have followed Xiao Hao for more than ten years, eating Xiao Hao's things, living in Xiao Hao's things, and using Xiao Hao's things. Is his "not leaving" because of love, or because he doesn't know how to live after leaving? Feeling comfortable spending Xiao Hao's money shows that in his subconscious mind, it is "what you should give me" - I exchange loyalty for support, which is part of the transaction. It's not that Chen Du is not good enough, it's that this love isn't clean enough. The scale in Xiao Hao's heart is terribly sensitive - he can tell at a glance how many impurities are in your love. If you can't tell the difference, it's not pure. If it is not pure, there will be no sense of security. ### Wei Yang's question: Symbiosis is not love The whole focus of life is wrapped around Xiao Hao, and he can't live without him. There are too many elements of "what would I do without you" in his "can't live without you". What Xiao Hao wants is not someone who can't live without him, but someone who clearly can leave but chooses to stay. ### Cheng Qi's first problem: Having courage but not being able to read Take Xiao Hao to Qinggang to face the trauma and have the courage. But after being pushed open, he left - mistaking the ajar door for a closed door. ### Pure definition **Does not contain any "unavoidable" ingredients. ** I don't stay because I am dependent on you, I don't stay because I can't live without you, I don't stay because I am used to it. That's it - I don't lack anything, I don't need anything from you, but I choose you. ## 6. Why Cheng Qi succeeded: It's not strategy, it's purity It is easy to interpret Cheng Qi's success as a "strategic victory" - keeping distance, maintaining the bottom line, and using time as a weapon. But this is an overly rational misreading. Cheng Qi is not "fighting", he is loving. - Not living in Xiao Hao's house - it's not "strategic distance", it's a self-respecting person who doesn't want his love to be misinterpreted as attachment. - Refuse to resign - not to "keep the bargaining chip", but because he knows that becoming an empty shell is not good for anyone - Handed in the salary card, but felt bad about spending Xiao Hao's money - it's not "thrifty", it's that he really regarded Xiao Hao's as his own **Every step is correct because the starting point is pure. ** A person who purely loves another person will naturally take the right path. ### About "It's worth spending money if you can't bear to bear it" When you spend money on someone, it is most worthwhile when the other person is reluctant to part with the money - because he really regards yours as his, and feels sorry for you as much as he feels sorry for himself. On the other hand, a person who spends money in a arrogant way just shows that he has not really integrated into the relationship. Cheng Qi turned in his salary card but felt bad about spending the money, while Chen Du felt comfortable spending Xiao Hao's money. It's the same money, but the attitude is different. Whether it's pure or not is a matter of opinion. ### About "The most worthy moment for a lover is when the other person loves you too." Xiao Hao has experienced inequality all his life: chasing someone who does not choose him (Liang Yu), and at the same time being chased by someone he does not love (Chen Du, Wei Yang). He thought love was a game that was never equal. Until Cheng Qi - he loved Cheng Qi, and Cheng Qi also loved him. Two people are in love at the same time, feel sorry for each other at the same time, and are afraid of losing each other at the same time. This is the first thing Xiao Hao has encountered in thirty years of life. **Reciprocal love is the strongest sense of security. ** ## 7. The ultimate proof: tears at the end of the corridor At the end of the KTV corridor, Cheng Qi was crying alone, unaware that Xiao Hao was behind him. This is the quietest and most powerful scene in the book. There is no purpose, no calculation, and it is not for anyone to cry for. He just went to the limit and unloaded everything in a corner where no one could see. The voice in Xiao Hao's heart that had ridiculed him for more than ten years - the voice that interpreted everything as "fake, purposeful, don't believe it" - was mute at this moment. Because it can't say "this is fake". Cheng Qi had no idea anyone was watching. **A person is broken in a place where he thinks no one will see him. This thing cannot be acted out. ** The reason why this moment is the "ultimate proof" is because it perfectly meets Xiao Hao's impossible condition - **pure, spontaneous, and not evidence of love that was made for me**. No one guided Cheng Qi to the end of the corridor, and no one told him, "Xiao Hao will change his mind once you cry." He just loved to the limit and couldn't bear it anymore. This is what Xiao Hao has been waiting for for more than ten years. ## 8. The unique weight in the context of Danmei The story also has a layer of pain that only holds true in a same-sex context. Liang Yu left Xiao Hao not because he fell in love with someone else, but because the matter of "being with a man" itself was lost to "normal life" in his life calculations. What Xiao Hao was denied was not him as a person, but his way of existence. This means that Xiao Hao has another layer of fear besides "you won't get it if you say it": **Even if someone loves me, he may be like Liang Yu and choose the latter between "loving me" and "living a normal life". ** Therefore, the weight of Cheng Qi's "there was a way to go but he didn't take it" is far more important than the ordinary "perseverance in pursuit". He is a person who can completely return to a "normal life" - he has the ability to work, a family background, and he can definitely find a girlfriend after being dumped. But he didn't. He spent four years proving: **I choose you, not because I have no other way, but because I just want you. ** Liang Yu turned around and left at the same fork in the road. Cheng Qi stopped at the same fork in the road. This comparison itself is the answer that Xiao Hao has been waiting for for more than ten years. ## 9. About the author: He writes characters that are deeper than his own understanding. The author Cheng Ziyu showed excellent intuition at many key moments - the design of the KTV corridor, the line "If it were you, you can hurt me", the name Liang Qing, and Cheng Qi's request to "face me as you are". These clips show that she touched the true core of the character at certain moments in her creation. But there are also signs that she hasn't thought it all through: - **The book is called "History of Scumbag Love"** - If you truly understood that every time Xiao Hao's "scumbag" was actually a signal for help, you would not have used this title. - **Cheng Qi's resemblance to Liang Yu is written too heavily** - repeated emphasis on appearance similarity weakens the real theme of "inside is the key" - **Xiao Hao has almost no inner monologue** - His dilemma is "cannot be said", but the author can let readers know through inner monologue, creating a tragic tension of "readers know but the character does not know", but she did not do this - **The cliff-like breakup pattern was not broken by any character** - including Cheng Qi, who finally succeeded, and did not say the words "You don't really want to leave" - **The ending is too sweet and too smooth** - A person who has been trapped for more than ten years will not become a perfect househusband overnight, lacking the aftershocks and repetitions in the transformation process Conclusion: **The author has written a character that is deeper than she understands. ** Xiao Hao's behavioral logic is self-consistent and complete, but half of this completeness may be intentional by the author, and the other half is the character's natural "growth" in the narrative. ## 10. One sentence summary **It's not that Xiao Hao doesn't know how to love, he can't say it. He put out the perfect persona as bait, waiting for someone to bypass the bait and bite the hook directly. Every cliff-hanger breakup is a test question, not a rejection. What he wants is the simplest thing - pure, spontaneous love without any impurities that he doesn't need to ask for. Cheng Qi was the only one who came to the answer on his own. ** If you want to verify that someone actually understands this book, just ask a question: **Do you think Xiao Hao feels relaxed or painful every time he breaks up? ** Those who answer "pain" are only one step away from the truth. *He is not a scumbag. He had waited too long, and it had hurt for too long. *

I really like this article. There is beauty in hell. For a serious lover of hell jokes like me, the more realistic and cruel it is, but it also has a bit of human sweetness. I am really impressed.

Cheng Qi is really a treasure man, so awesome, I wish him happiness

Is Liang Yu really as happy as they thought? I personally don't think so. He gave up the most precious thing. From then on, his life has been moving smoothly. He can endure the pain silently for the people he once cherished, and he can say things against his will for the people he cherished. He really hopes that Xiao can be happy. Was he really threatened that night? As a strong and calm person, would he really not know what to do to stop Xiao from disturbing his life once and for all? The whole text only likes Liang. He can choose to grow up and take responsibility when facing pain. On the other hand, Xiao has never grown up. Can a child who can really cry have candy?

This article has so much staying power... Really. This is not going to have any miraculous effects after reading it. I feel bad after reading it. I don't want to say who is right or wrong. I just feel that the people who were hurt by the scumbag are very pitiful. I was depressed and miserable, but others finally became happy... I can't be the only one suffering!!! So I pushed this article to my bestie, and we both suffered together. Every time I think about this article, I feel like I want to cough up blood. Every time I click on the introduction, I feel like I have been hit hard qaqqq. In a sense, I feel that I will never forget it in this life.

Having a similar experience with Cheng, it means that Zha Gong likes someone like Cheng Qi, and love at first sight is true love. Liang is just the same type as Cheng, but Zha Gong is too stupid to think that he likes Liang. In addition, the timeline of meeting Liang is earlier, and Zha Gong is too paranoid.

188 I blame you wrongly, this scumbag is the one who really defies heaven

It's like watching gossip and I can't stop watching it

I've finished reading it. It's very good. I hope everyone can be this happy forever in reality.
