Fang Shanshui's modern life as a fake mystic: raising zombies, running an online shop, battling rival practitioners of the occult, and dealing with all kinds of supernatural happenings and monsters that defy science. [Just read for fun, don't take it seriously, and don't be scared :)] [Plant one master in spring, and reap a whole lot of masters in autumn.] On Qingyue Mountain stands Qingyue Temple, where a master and his apprentice live together. One day, the master passed away. Following his master's last wishes, Fang Shanshui set about turning his body into a zombie. Partway through the process, he ran short of money. Before leaving to earn some, he said to his master in the coffin, “Master, when your apprentice comes back, I'll get you a gold coffin.” Fang Shanshui left. The master lay quietly in his coffin, waiting for him to return. One day, two days, three days… At last, he grew impatient. Reading notes: 1. This story is entirely fictional. Any resemblance is coincidental, or perhaps it's the Interstellar version next door =v=. Please don't overanalyze the names, places, or folk customs related to corpse-driving and Taoism. Only twenty percent of it has any basis in reality; the other eighty percent is stuff the author made up. Take it seriously and you lose :). 2. The main romance is with the master, and the age gap is considerable... It involves zombies, ancient tombs, folk customs, ghosts and monsters, funerals, and so on. There will probably be plenty of little supernatural tales that defy scientific explanation. Hehe, don't wait for me to somehow unlock my drawing skills in the distant future. When I was writing the Interstellar version, quite a few readers said they liked the pre-transmigration version and regretted the pairing, so when it ended, I said I'd start a new, modern version without transmigration. This story can be seen as another protagonist in a parallel universe: a different him in a different world, meeting different people and experiencing different things. You can read them as two separate books. Apart from the character concepts, they are basically unrelated... That's about it. Theme:
