(SasuNaru) Facing It Together

I wrote this years ago for my favorite couple, but I never finished the ending, so I never posted it. I found it again in my own documents.

Although Naruto has ended and the boys of those days have grown up, they were once each other's bond. I thought they would keep walking together forever and ever, but that was only the boys they were in their youth.

Now they each have their own families and children. They have returned to reality, while we fans who love them so much are unwilling to wake from this dream. In the days after Naruto's ending came out, I found it so hard to come to terms with...

I had lots of ideas about them, but this is the only one I ever finished. I'm posting it for everyone to read. Looking at it now, this short piece is full of overused tropes, but it reminds me of those days when I foolishly typed it out at my computer, then closed the computer with a satisfied smile. (I'm rambling.)

I'll always wish these two well. Since you can't meet in reality, then live on in my ideal world.
