The Seventh Kind of Contact

Lou Lan was captured by the evil insect race and forced to undergo breeding experiments. To keep the insects from succeeding, he killed all the newly hatched insects and the unhatched eggs, then flew alone aboard an insect spaceship to an unfamiliar planet.

On the lonely planet, he met a handsome man who had probably been captured by aliens as well. The man was very timid and afraid of him at first, but after they got to know each other, he quickly fell deeply in love with Lou Lan. They became a couple, keeping each other warm on the lonely planet.

But before long, Lou Lan noticed that his lover was acting strangely.

For instance, even though he loved Lou Lan so much, he still sometimes seemed afraid of him without meaning to.

He would often sneak off somewhere without telling Lou Lan, and Lou Lan had no idea what he was doing there.

He would even secretly cry over the deaths of those insects.

Finally, one day, Lou Lan couldn't resist secretly following him to find out what his lover did whenever he disappeared.
