[Eight Worthy Princes] The Splendors of the Eastern Capital

I've started another story. Given my habits, I'll write as I go. If there's nothing to read, I'll just write something myself. Hmph.

Before the story:

There has long been disagreement over whether the Eighth Virtuous Prince was Zhao Defang or Zhao Yuan Yan. However, later research into their ages, identities, reputations, and conduct suggests that the "Eighth Prince," Zhao Yuan Yan, is a better fit for the title of "Eight-Thousand-Year-Old." Both Defang and Yuan Yan have qualities worth regretting, respecting, and appreciating, so I've made a small adjustment in the story. Just smile when you see it.

Blurb:

Silk brocade robes, a jade belt, phoenix eyes, and vermilion lips.

There is no equal in the world, a man of peerless beauty.

You are not Defang.

But you never had to be Defang.

You are the Eighth Virtuous Prince.

All you have to do is live the life that is yours to live.

Characters and settings draw in part from Young Justice Bao 1, Young Justice Bao 3, Kou Lao Xi'er, The Seven Heroes and Five Gallants, and The Three Heroes and Five Gallants. A mix of official history and unofficial tales, so just enjoy the fantasy with a smile.

Repeat to yourself three times: "This is a fictional story. This is a fictional story. This is a fictional story."
