Green Across the Heart

Last winter, he moved here all by himself. At first, his only dream was to have a home of his own, with a terrace he could arrange however he liked, where he could grow vegetables, raise birds, and enjoy a quiet life. This winter, he’s already curled up in bed with the person he loves, watching movies and discussing whether they should sow more lettuce or plant more radishes next year, whether to stick with just this one kind of strawberry or plant a few more Frandi strawberries to make jam. These are tedious little things, but they make life feel so warm. Maybe this life will be short, maybe it will be long. He doesn’t know whether they’ll make it to next winter. But for this person, he wants to do better, and keep this terrace green until the day he closes his eyes forever. A quietly unfolding modern sweet romance. No pocket dimension, no supernatural powers, just ordinary vegetable gardening. I don’t plan to make it very long, so I’ll probably finish it sometime this year. All the gardening know-how in the story can be used in real life, such as sprouting beans, making compost, mixing soil, raising seedlings, making semi-hydroponic bottles, and pollinating plants. You can also read it as a how-to guide. If any of you ladies want to try growing something for fun, you can use the story as a reference. I’ll introduce some varieties I like, along with a few tips. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. I really enjoy reading comments, and I check the comments on my story every day. Of course, all this diligence doesn’t carry over to updating the story... For now, I update every other day, sometimes daily, and when I’m busy, every two days... So if you’re enjoying it, please add it to your collection. Theme:
