Even when troubles befall them, people no longer worship the gods. The Light God’s power grows weaker, while the Dark God’s influence continues to strengthen. The Light God needs believers, so he sends the angels a divine decree to build up his following. Empress Fulan of the Black Forest kingdom rules over a rich land and a people who adore her. She becomes the angels of the Light God’s first choice. The angels fail again and again, then fail again. The Light God decides to meet this stubborn, principled empress who refuses to be swayed. But when he finally meets her, she is no longer an empress. She has become a follower of the Dark God. “The Dark God is cruel. He’ll bring nothing but endless darkness and suffering to your people.” “They’re not my people anymore. They’re Snow White’s people now.” “The Dark God does whatever he wants, bringing disaster and barrenness to your lands.” “They’re not my lands anymore. They’re Snow White’s lands now.” The Light God doesn’t believe her, so he takes Fulan to witness humanity’s suffering and misfortune. “Only through faith in the Light can people be reborn.” The Dark God scoffs. He ought to be humanity’s nightmare, the one they despise. “You shouldn’t worship me.” Fulan: “You’re both right. But I’m an evil, wicked stepmother. I exploit the people, harm the king’s only daughter, and drain this land of its wealth. So I have to be a follower of the Dark God.” Snow White, now queen of the Black Forest kingdom, and the people living prosperous lives thanks to Fulan: “???” Theme: To be added.
