Wishing You Prosperity

In 2015, humanity raised its arms and cried, "Long live our friendship! May our friendship last forever!" And then... we were invaded by our "alien friends." The apocalypse descended. War raged in every corner, and Earth's civilization was reduced to ruins in an instant. During yet another attack, Lu Shier, the young owner of a pet shop, scrambled into a department store. As he searched for somewhere to hide, he was spotted by an alien bandit chief who just happened to be passing by. The alien bandit chief raised both arms, aimed his cannons at Lu Shier, and blasted him to smithereens... Clutching a can of powdered goat milk that had fallen from a shelf and a pet-care book, Lu Shier woke up again, only to find himself five hundred years in Earth's future... This is an era in which humans and phantom beasts coexist. It is the best of times, and the worst of times.
