Part One:

At the top of a course in the Olympic Mountains, sunlight broke through the dark clouds like the dawn. Flags fluttered as he crowned her with his own hands.

Part Two:

There are two legendary figures in China's snowboard carving scene:

Bei Jiao in Chongli, Zhangjiakou, and Jiang Ran in Jilin.

Rumor has it the two masters each rule their own territory. They don't know each other, and the kings never meet.

One day at Songbei Ski Resort in Jilin, word spread that Jiao Shen from Chongli was dropping in to give a free public lesson. Everyone eagerly went to see.

At the cable car station, Jiang Ran pushed through the packed crowd with her shoulder, snowboard in her arms, and strode toward the lifts without looking around.

Someone called out to her: "Sister Ran! Sister Ran!"

Jiang Ran turned around.

The passerby said, "Jiao Shen from Chongli is giving a public lesson. Why not listen to him talk for a minute? Know your enemy and know yourself, and you'll win every battle?"

Jiang Ran said, "Who does he think he is? Someone who's only been skiing for three years gets called a god? Skiing is an extreme sport. Where's your respect for it?"

She hadn't kept her voice down. In an instant, the ski resort turned into a crematorium.

Everyone turned to look, waiting for a bloody showdown between the top female champion and the top male champion at the summit of the Forbidden City. But then Bei Jiao said calmly, "Listen to her."

Everyone: "?"

Under everyone's gaze, Jiao Shen, who was known for his usually sour temper, looked at the person standing in the distance, his dark eyes steady.

"Ranran."

His voice was low and magnetic, gentler than anyone had ever heard.

Everyone: "??"

The woman standing in the distance with a cold expression didn't respond. He lowered his eyes slowly, and in that instant the alpha wolf turned back into a dog.

"Master."

Everyone: "!!!"

Everyone knew Bei Jiao had an extraordinary master who had trained him from the time he first took up snowboarding, four years ago, until he became a god.

But few knew that this extraordinary master was Jiang Ran.

*Early on: fierce, spoiled heiress x wild dog pretending to be obedient

*Later on: female champion x her little-known, surpassing-the-master, independent male disciple

*An unconventional snowboarding story

*The main type of snowboarding in this novel is carving, also known as "carving," a technical style of riding. The related Olympic event, though not exactly the same, is parallel giant slalom.

*Author's overly active imagination (shaking): Bunnies need long ears

Theme: Actively answering the call for 300 million people to take up winter sports
