The World Is Falling Apart, and Only the Corpse King Has Its Eyes on Me

A bizarre epidemic swept through K City. People's skin began to ulcerate and become covered in livor mortis, as if the apocalypse had arrived, but Tao Ning was the only uninfected person in the entire city.

Tao Ning was forced into isolation at the Academy of Sciences for observation. During a research accident, he nearly met his end, but at the last moment, he was rescued by Zhong Shun, who broke into the academy.

This long-haired, pale-faced, highly (un)savory (sta)te of mind (patient) claimed to be Tao Ning's lover in a past life. He had been sealed away for five hundred years, all to preserve Tao Ning's one hun and three po, so that Tao Ning could be reborn when he was unsealed.

Tao Ning had always been a sensible young man who scoffed at supernatural phenomena. But ever since he met this immortal old coot, whose mind was full of epic romances and bonds of fate, strange stories involving ghosts began happening around him one after another.
