Returning the Box

Jiang Zhi, the big boss of the Chenxue Group, was assassinated and died, only to rise from the dead on the day of his funeral. The resurrected Jiang Zhi is as gentle as jade, utterly unlike the ruthless and vicious man he used to be. But Jiang Zhi had been a terrible person in life, and few people in the group are loyal to him now. A new boss who looks so easy to manipulate is just the perfect puppet. The Chenxue Group is seething with hidden tensions. Naturally, no one notices that Gu Wanzhi, the little sidekick who once attended to Jiang Zhi's every need, has long since stepped away from the maelstrom. "He's not you. I know he's not you." Gu Wanzhi gazed solemnly at Jiang Zhi, who was dozing by the fireplace. Now, only Gu Wanzhi can see Jiang Zhi. Alone, in spirit, he fought his way back from the underworld. Abandoned by everyone and unnoticed by all, he can't even reclaim his body, let alone change his clothes. He's been forced to lower himself to live in the little room Gu Wanzhi calls home. "What good does it do if you're the only one who knows?" Jiang Zhi shifted into a more comfortable position and continued to feign sleep. "I want everyone in the world to know: if you take something that belongs to me, Jiang Zhi, even the fleas in your house will get castrated." "..." "What are you laughing at?" "I was wrong." A story about a big-shot crime boss whose body is taken over by someone else, then fights his way back from the underworld to the human world and takes revenge with his loyal sidekick. There's nothing more fun than fighting people, and nothing more fun than fighting ghosts. [Devoted Younger Top X Ruthless Older Bottom] [Possibly an anti-rebirth story] [Jiang Zhi]
