The bottom is a rich kid with a terrible reputation. Before going bankrupt, he used to wallpaper his room with pictures of the haughty Top 1, and he was bitter rivals with the tsundere Top 2. Top 3 is a younger puppy, and Top 4 is a cool beauty who knows how to take the lead.

Top 1: Xin Chen

Top 2: Yin Zhenliu

In every commemorative photo of me holding a championship trophy, Yin Zhenliu's sour face is there. Why? Because he's standing beside me as the runner-up, of course.

I should have realized sooner. Lu Zhen looks innocent and unguarded, but he plays baseball. Baseball is chess on a green field. He couldn't possibly be stupid. I thought he wanted a home run, to stay on the field as long as possible, to stay by my side. I never imagined what he really wanted was a strikeout, to send me out of the game.

Top 4: Xie Yong

The person I hate most in this life is a cold beauty who looks down on everyone. Maybe being rejected by the prettiest girl in kindergarten scarred me. Xie Yong is exactly that sort of person. But when his long hair falls across my face and his shadow envelops me, my distant memories begin to crack, one by one.

Oh. He's that prettiest girl.

In myth, the golden apple was born of jealousy, fought over by vain gods. A young man who possessed power and courage hoped to win love with it, but ultimately brought war upon the world.

Like most stories in this world, people often chase after empty illusions that are beautiful only on the surface, willingly making fools of themselves and inviting disaster.
