HP: Merlin's Descendant

Set in the Harry Potter era. The heroine isn't a Mary Sue or a doormat, and the pairing is the heroine and the professor. A strong heroine story, though she grows gradually and isn't very mature at first. The story is a slow burn, and her relationship with the professor develops over time. Original fiction and fan fiction, woven together, especially when it comes to the magical world's background. I've added plenty of original ideas, hoping to fill in some of the gaps Aunt Rowling left. I've read lots of wonderful stories on Jinjiang, and I love Harry Potter too, so I decided to write down some of the random ideas in my head. If I can add a little enjoyment to your studies and daily life, I'll be very happy. Many stories follow the original plot and are full of drama, with plenty of upheaval and setbacks, and vivid characters. But after reading them for a while, I started wondering: if the Dark Lord had been defeated early on, would everyone's personalities and fates still have been the same as in the original? Of course not. Many people need turmoil to grow and setbacks to mature. That's why so many Harry Potter stories follow this path: the heroine usually comes from an ordinary background, so she has to work hard and fight for herself. She happens to live through that "dramatic era," is drawn to its heroes, makes a name for herself, and finally ends up with the person she loves. But what if it were peacetime? How many people would fall for Snape without reading all of Books 6 and 7... And how many would come to like Draco if he hadn't been tempered by hardship? The young prince in platinum blond wouldn't have grown up so quickly... So what I want to write... is really a different kind of story. It may stray far from the original, but it's closer to everyday life.>
