[Demon Slayer] Worry-Free

[On the day I willingly sacrificed myself for my older brother, praying for clear skies, I became bound to this sky.]

A thousand years later, returning to the human world, Wuyou gains the power to control the weather at will.

When she is happy, the sun shines brightly. When she is sad, rain falls without end. A gentle breeze follows her as she walks, and she calls down lightning when danger strikes.

She is certain that Heaven has blessed her with good fortune in this life, and hopes to share that fortune with the world.

So she performs rainmaking rites for the unfortunate, hoping to bring clear skies after the storms.

Her sincere kindness earns her the people’s support, and they form the [Clear Sky Maiden Cult] for her, reverently honoring her as the [Heaven-and-Earth Priestess] who can communicate with the sky.

From then on, she starts competing with the Eternal Paradise Cult for followers, gets taken under the wing of the kind head of the Demon Slayer Corps, and becomes the darling of all the big shots.

Wuyou: Something about this development feels off...

Of course, even as she basks in happiness, she will never forget the wish she made when she first willingly offered herself as a sacrifice:

'Even if we never meet again in any future life, I still hope my older brother's future will be safe, happy, and free of worry.'

Until she realizes that all these sincere blessings are ultimately destined to become a sorrowful act of mercy.

"I haven't asked yet. What exactly is your name?"

"Hm? My name is... Kibutsuji Wuyou."

Reader's guide:

※ A sweet angel who is nothing like the trashy boss. She's gentle and principled, but no pushover. This is a story of saving others and being saved in turn.

※ The pairing is Zenitsu. Hahahaha, I love him! As usual, this will be a sweet treat.

※ It will be a crossover with Demon Slayer, Dororo, and more. I'm casually collecting advance reservations.

Bonus scene:

After learning that Wuyou is basically the weather, Zenitsu bursts into tears: "Waaah! That lightning bolt that struck me when I climbed a tree back then was your doing, wasn't it, Wuyou-chan? You must have struck me because you like me! Hurry up and marry me!"

Wuyou, with him clinging to her leg and proposing, looks completely flustered: "Eh... Ehhh???"
