Transmigrating to the Future and a Fantasy World

Night never falls at the Mirage Pavilion.

Gilded masks conceal weary eyes, while neon and champagne bubbles weave a grand deception.

Everyone tacitly covers up the cracks, losing themselves in an illusory coronation to the strains of a dance tune, letting desire pile higher as the foundations slowly crumble.

Ling Sha is a backstage mask restorer. Day after day, she repairs the gleaming gold leaf, the only one who can see the rot hidden beneath the masks.

Yan Jin arrives covered in cracks, moving pieces from the shadows as he waits for the moment the dream collapses.

The revelry keeps spinning without end, but the gilded shell has long since rotted away.

When the day comes to tear off the masks, the clamor will roar past, leaving nothing in the world but darkness.
