Transmigrating to Ancient Times and Meeting Him

Wind chimes at the eaves scatter the waning moon. No sheet of rice paper can capture all the years of parting.

Shen Zhiyan keeps watch over her qin studio in the old stone lane, waiting for a snowfall that will never come.

Back then, Su Wangshuo had snow on his fingertips as he ground ink for her, promising they would grow old together.

But no one can defy fate in this mortal world. One parting severed their paths, leaving them without a word from each other.

She searched through every poem but could not find the half-verse they had promised to write together. The qin strings snapped, and again and again, ink traced the outline of his smiling face.

Snow fell on the eaves year after year, covering their old promise and whitening her hair.

Trapped all her life in the calamity of that encounter, she was willing, if their fate had no solution, to wager the rest of her life for a chance to rewrite it.

If they met again in their next lives, she would become a single snowflake, falling softly onto his shoulder.
