My Drama Queen Ex Thinks I Want to Get Back Together

“She only loved me for a brief moment, but I’ve kept it in my heart ever since.”

“Day and night, I toss and turn.”

After their breakup, Yun Xi never deleted her ex-boyfriend from WeChat. She used his chat as a notepad instead.

As usual, she sent him the address of the next place she planned to check out, then went to bed. She never expected her ex to secretly add her back on WeChat and see the message.

Yu Yucheng: [.]

Yu Yucheng: [?]

Yu Yucheng: [Are you asking me out?]

Yu Yucheng: [Sure.]

Yu Yucheng: [I’m here. Where are you?]

Yu Yucheng: [I ordered for you. Don’t be late. I’ll only wait ten minutes.]

Half an hour later.

Yu Yucheng: [Yun Xi, you heartless woman! The food’s gone cold, and you still haven’t shown up?]

Yu Yucheng: [Are we getting back together or not? I’ll wait ten more minutes, and that’s it.]

Another hour later.

Yu Yucheng: [Last ten minutes!]

Yun Xi woke up to 99+ messages and fell silent. “…”

Had she been haunted?

They got together because Yu Yucheng was such a good cook. They broke up because he was so dramatic, and their relationship was full of squabbles, big and small.

It was true that the photos of desserts and daily meals he posted on his Moments made her mouth water, but she absolutely wasn’t going back to an ex.

After thinking it over, Yun Xi came clean: [I sent that to you by accident. This is a place I’m planning to check out. I wasn’t asking you out.]

Less than three seconds later, Yu Yucheng replied: [You think I’ll believe something this convenient? Come eat with me.]

[Sorry, I’ve already booked out the whole restaurant. :) ]

A cool, deadpan office worker with an especially strong workaholic vibe x a hotheaded, unpredictable guy who’s both servile and arrogant

[Blurb needs work. It’ll be something like this, and I’ll post a polished version before the novel starts. The leads’ names aren’t set yet, but they’ll probably be the “Yun-Yu” couple. I couldn’t resist opening another preorder. Please add it to your collection…]
