Haha, How Did You Get So Old?

The day Chang Huan confessed to him, Su Yuhe couldn't sleep.

He gave the matter the same meticulous consideration he would a math competition, thinking it through with the utmost seriousness:

He considered their grades, their family backgrounds, which universities they would attend, which cities they might live in, and even whether their future children would be good-looking.

In the end, Su Yuhe arrived at a fairly objective conclusion: they could give dating a try, but if things didn't work out, they should break up amicably and not get too caught up in each other.

Su Yuhe wrote his answer on a slip of paper, planning to pass it to Chang Huan during morning study the next day.

He never got the chance. Chang Huan disappeared.

For eleven years, Su Yuhe never gave up looking for Chang Huan.

He went to her hometown and retraced her childhood.

He enrolled in the police academy and pored over every clue in the case of the missing eighteen-year-old Chang Huan, refusing to overlook even the smallest lead.

The case went nowhere.

Then, in the summer of the year Su Yuhe turned thirty, a girl knocked on his door.

She was wearing the uniform of Yulin High School. She was thin, and the oversized uniform hung loosely on her.

There was an ink stain on the cuff of her pale green sleeve.

Su Yuhe actually remembered it: the mark left when Chang Huan dozed off in math class and her pen tip blotted the fabric.

The girl ruffled her fluffy short hair and said, "Su Yuhe, I think I've transmigrated."

Then she added, "Haha, why are you so old?"

The daily life of a mischievous girl and her old-fashioned, overprotective guy, fighting and loving each other in equal measure.

The male and female leads have an eleven-year age gap.
