My Avengers and DC crossover, "Don't Punch Your Date," is currently being updated in the ship-fic bucket. Come give it a try!
Yes, yes, I'm back with another Batfamily fic... This was an impulse project based on my tastes. I really wanted to indulge in a fierce Wing 😋 I'll see how it goes.
A soft-hearted but timid girl who somehow gets things done x a forceful Wing
Pseudo-incest, probably lots of push and pull throughout, very little plot
Blurb:
The person Korania Wayne fears most in the entire world is her brother, Dick.
No one would understand how she feels, just as no one would ever guess that she, too, is Bruce Wayne's child.
Docile, fragile, always hiding behind her father Bruce, she watches others timidly, as if the outside world might swallow her whole. Bruce Wayne tells the world that he adopted the child of a close friend, but who was this friend? No one knows.
But Richard Grayson loves his new little sister.
Bruce tells him that Cora needs protecting, so he becomes her protector. Bruce tells him that Cora needs looking after, so he devotes himself to taking care of her.
Then Bruce says, with some concern, that maybe Cora needs a little privacy, too?
Oh. Looks like it's a little late for that.
Sixteen-year-old Cora writes anxiously in her diary:
"What do I do? I think I might like my own brother a little. The more he tries to control me, the more I like him. He even scolds me, and I think I'm kind of into it. This is so messed up. Is it against the law? Will I get arrested? Will Dad kick me out? Will Dick hate me forever?"
Then the person in question finds the diary.
Cora has already decided which clothes to take when she runs away from home, and where she'll go to die a tragic death.
"Cora." Dick sets the diary on her desk and looks down at his little sister. "You won't get arrested, and you won't be kicked out. There's no way I could ever hate you, but..."
He smiles and kisses his sister on the forehead. "You only like me 'a little'? Why can't you like me 'a lot,' Korania?"

I just threw this blurb together! I'll probably revise it later. It should still be under 200,000 words. I'm going for those hazy feelings that start in adolescence, and a girl who's super afraid of her big brother. Trying to write a heroine with a different personality this time, hehe.
Theme: You don't have to put love into categories.
