After Our Divorce, My Ex-Husband Insisted on Living With Me

1.

Xi Cheng followed her parents' wishes and entered an arranged marriage with Wen Yanshu.

Wen Yanshu was handsome and capable. He'd gone from the least favored member of his family to the head of the company.

Marrying him was a good deal.

But the longer Xi Cheng spent with him, the more she realized how calculating he was.

She wasn't good at playing games and couldn't beat him, so she divorced him.

2.

She thought they were even after that, and would have nothing more to do with each other.

But Wen Yanshu, who was usually aloof and cared only about the company, didn't cut ties as cleanly as she'd expected. Instead, he seemed to be clinging to her, showing up at her home all the time.

Once, he went to the wrong door.

Once, he showed up drunk.

Once, he was sick.

Eventually, he just moved in with her.

3.

Somehow, after all that, Xi Cheng and Wen Yanshu became friends with benefits.

Her friend said, "How is that any different from not getting divorced?"

Xi Cheng said, "It's very different."

At least now she could see Wen Yanshu's true colors.
