Watching the Sea

Chang Ning had no shortage of admirers growing up, but the one who ultimately won her heart was the younger, puppy-like Qiao Yumu.

The first time they met, Qiao Yumu brought a meal to her bedside and cooked her three dishes and a soup.

That was the taste of home.

The fairy eating her meal had no idea, while the cook had feelings for her...

Years later, as Chang Ning looked back on the day they first met, she finally realized that the puppy had been in love with her all along.

On their first anniversary, they ran into Chang Ning’s old flame.

Qiao Yumu held Chang Ning’s hand without letting on, keeping a calm expression, but once they got home, her jealousy boiled over.

“Am I not as good as your old flame, sis?”
