Obsessively Raised by My Doll

Legend has it that the greatest puppet master can turn a puppet infused with their blood, sweat, and tears into a living person.

The young princess is the child of a hostage prince. Born in an enemy kingdom, she has never had enough to eat or warm clothes to wear, and palace servants constantly mock and abuse her.

To protect herself and her parents, the young princess secretly learned the art of puppet-making, dripping her blood into puppets day after day.

“Little puppet, little puppet, hurry up and come to life. I really need you.”

Every day, the young princess made a wish to her puppet. Drops of blood fell from her fingertips onto its pale wooden lips, like rouge.

Everyone laughed at her for dreaming the impossible.

“You believe in something that only exists in legends?”

“Only a fool like you would fall for that kind of trick!”

“Is it a trick? No, it isn’t.”

“And I’m not a fool.”

The young princess lowered her head and hid her little puppet behind her back, silently shedding tears.

She really wanted a little puppet of her very own, one that would never abandon or betray her.

At some point, everyone who had bullied the young princess began to suffer one misfortune after another.

And the young princess secretly discovered that her puppet seemed to have... come to life.

Before the puppet had even taken human form, its intense possessiveness was already showing. Every midnight, she would repeat the words slowly, one by one, in the young princess's ear.

“You know this. I am your puppet.”

“I will never abandon or betray you.”

“I will only... possess you forever.”

The young princess seemed frightened. She sniffled and burrowed into the puppet's arms, her tiny voice thick with tears.

“I like you.”

A look of satisfaction flickered across the puppet's exquisite face.

So this was the little human she had raised. So precious, she could hardly bear it.

Ji Yilian is the undisputed darling of the heavens, the Alliance's youngest S-rank alpha. She emerged unscathed from the Abyss War, beautiful and radiant as a rose.

But it was all thanks to the childhood friend who had once devoted herself to Ji Yilian.

That childhood friend saved every single one of her talent potions and eagerly gave them to Ji Yilian, who was an orphan like her, hoping she would grow wings and become a phoenix.

By scrimping and saving and giving all her resources to Ji Yilian, the childhood friend missed the crucial moment to awaken her spirit form. For the rest of her life, she could only watch helplessly as Ji Yilian went farther and farther ahead.

She did not even make it to her nineteenth birthday before Ji Yilian forgot her without a second thought.

Then Yan Liu was bound to a romance System, with a mission to win over Ji Yilian, the cold-hearted, ruthless alpha and dark moon of the original story.

After returning to the age of eighteen, at the crucial moment when an omega could awaken her spirit form, Yan Liu unhesitatingly crushed the talent potion and swallowed it herself.

Hah. She did not want to win her over. She wanted to tame her.

Later, Ji Yilian searched every thorny thicket beneath the Abyss for a blue rose that might make Yan Liu glance her way.

When she heard that Yan Liu was about to be matched with another alpha, the proud alpha who had never lost on the Abyss battlefield bowed her head, found Yan Liu, and offered her everything.

“Let me be the one who gives this time. You don't have to do a thing. Please give me a chance, Yan Yan.”

“How could they ever compare to me? We're the ones who grew up together.”

Yan Liu just smiled. Her progress toward winning Ji Yilian over had reached 100%.

She nodded and said, “All right.” Then she took the blue rose and gently tore it apart. The next day, she chose to leave the small world.

The young alpha, having lost the one she loved, changed overnight. Unable to find her beloved, she broke through the world's barriers.

“Yan Yan.” The young S-rank alpha had all but given up everything to reach Yan Liu.

Her face was pale, but her lips were a vivid red. As she gazed at Yan Liu, a trace of frenzied humility flickered deep in her eyes.

“Didn't you say all right?”

The alpha, brimming with despair and obsession, was nothing but gentle in front of Yan Liu. She took her hand and pressed a kiss to it.

“Our Yan Yan really is mischievous.”

“But it doesn't matter. I found you.”
