Hedda has a secret she can no longer bear alone. "There's something I need to tell you. Whatever you do, don't freak out."
Tim nodded. "Don't worry, Hedda. I'm from Gotham. It takes a lot to scare me."
Hedda: "I have three male personalities with dissociative identity disorder, and they all say they're Nightwing."
Robin whispered inside her head, "Hey! I'm not one of them yet!"
The Batman-as-Nightwing stayed silent.
The owl hooted encouragingly, "Why ask anyone else? You could just open up your head and take a look."
Tim: "..."
Tim suggested Hedda move to Bludhaven for a change of scenery.
--
Hedda would never call Robin her bratty little-kid personality again!
She felt herself parkouring across rooftops, nimbly dodging bullets from behind, and offered the great Robin her most heartfelt praise!
Hedda felt like she could swagger through Gotham, Bludhaven, or Metropolis, wherever she pleased!
One day, she woke up to a delicious brunch made by "herself." After that, Hedda graciously accepted the Batman-as-Nightwing.
-- No one ever said superheroes could cook so well!
The owl gave an ominous hoot. "They're going to spoil you rotten!"
Hedda sneered and ignored the owl.
Another morning, Hedda woke up at Wayne Manor. Looking at her clearly teenage hands and hearing the owl's voice come out of her throat, her heart sank.
Hedda was silent for a moment, then ingratiatingly said, "Hey, dear owl. Actually, you've always been my favorite. Are you still in me, I mean, in your head?"
No answer came from inside her mind. Just then, someone knocked at the door.
Owlman's voice was calm and even. "Richard, you slept in today."
--
After taking a massive hit in a parallel world, Hedda returned to her own body, emotionally wrecked. She threw her arms around Nightwing and cried, "Help me, Cai Cai!"
The person she'd begged for help was still trying to figure something out when Hedda opened her eyes and found herself in another world.
Hedda: "..."
She closed her eyes serenely.
I don't dare open my eyes. I hope this is just a hallucination.
