[Western Crossover] Praise the Daily Planet!

Superman wants to quit again! Lois wants to change jobs again! Perry is back to psychologically manipulating people!

I'm Perry, editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet. I have the best reporter, Lois.

Today is exceptionally quiet, and I haven't seen any signs of a hot news story.

My outstanding reporter Lois is chasing a new story. I can practically see the glorious front page we'll have before long.

But lately there really hasn't been enough news worth covering.

I sat at my desk, clasped my hands, and thought for five seconds. Then I slammed the desk.

"Kent!"

I've decided. Call Superman.

:

Clark, a Daily Planet reporter, AKA Superman. That doesn't stop him from having the most impossible boss, who is only ever nice to Lois!

Perry: "I need a story that's compelling enough to grab people's attention."

Clark: "But, "

Perry: "No buts. I want it this afternoon."

Clark tried to save himself. "But!"

Perry cut him off again. "Do you know how many times you've gone to the bathroom this month?"

Clark: "..."

I've decided. I'll quit and become Superman.

:

Lois, the Daily Planet's star reporter, is always chasing stories and has the most "impossible" boss.

Perry said earnestly, "Lane, whoever you marry, I hope your partner can stay home and be a full-time dad. You're my best reporter. Apart from giving you time to recover physically, I hope you take as little extra maternity leave as possible."

Lois: "Then I guess I need to find a man who'll marry into my family."

Perry: "Could you just not date, get married, or have kids? I can pay into your pension."

Lois: "..."

Lois: "Can I change jobs?"
