Her Captive [Switch]

--From the female lead's perspective--

Ji Huaifu, CEO of the Ji Group, deliberately let rumors of a financial crisis spread to mislead her rivals. She never expected the ruse to bring Shen Wu to her door.

He blurted out that he wanted her to marry him in exchange for funding. She hated being threatened, and the Ji Group wasn't so desperate that it needed to finance itself with her marriage. But her father was close to death, and his dying wish was to drink a cup of tea served by his daughter's husband. She had no idea where to find one, and Shen Wu had turned up on his own, so she chose him.

So even though she had liked the clean-cut, handsome Shen Wu at first sight, she always kept a cold expression. She watched as he carefully tried to please her and found all kinds of excuses to get close to her, yet she only entered his room and showed him affection when they were doing it.

"President Ji, your husband left this behind."

Ji Huaifu looked down. The envelope bore four large characters: Divorce Agreement.

She laughed. "What sort of nonsense is he up to now?"

Only later did she realize that Shen Wu really did want a divorce.

--From the male lead's perspective--

Shen Wu was the second son of the Shen family and a moderately well-known painter. Then he met Ji Huaifu, head of the Ji family, just as the Ji Group was hit by a financial crisis. He brought a project contract to her and demanded to marry into her family, putting down his paintbrush and putting on an apron.

But throughout their three-year marriage, Ji Huaifu never once looked at him properly. She never wore her wedding ring and often stayed away from home. He thought he could warm her icy heart, but...

Who would have thought that after he asked for a divorce, Ji Huaifu would seem to change?
