After I Entered the Palace in a Woman's Place, the Tyrant Fell for Me

Everyone knows that Xiao Lin, the tyrant of the Great Yuan Dynasty, is cruel by nature and especially averse to women. His harem is practically empty.

To keep her foolish daughter, who had just gotten engaged, from being sent to the palace to die, the reclusive Sword Venerable Xie Shu sighed, put on women's clothes, and took her place.

Xie Shu's original plan: Pretend to be ill, stay alive, watch the drama, and wait for the tyrant to die.

But on his first day in the palace, the tyrant granted him the authority to manage the Six Palaces.

Within his first month, the tyrant sent him a peerless sword, a tribute from a vassal state.

Half a year after he entered the palace, all the consorts who had tried to harm him were dealt with by the tyrant himself and tossed out of the palace.

Watching the tyrant, who lounged on his bed every day and insisted on holding him to fall asleep, Xie Shu fell into deep thought: Is this tyrant blind? Can't he see that I have an Adam's apple?

Then one day, assassins from an enemy state launched a midnight attack.

To protect this long-term meal ticket, Xie Shu accidentally exposed his secret identity. His sword flashed coldly across fourteen provinces, and he shaved the assassins bald.

His hair came loose, revealing that he was a man.

Xie Shu turned around with his sword in hand, expecting to see the tyrant's furious face.

Instead, the decisive emperor had eyes that were not only free of panic but red-rimmed as he stared at Xie Shu, his voice trembling like a madman's:

"Xie Changzhou, I've had such a hard time finding you."

"Since you've delivered yourself to me, even if you're a man, you're going to be my empress."

Later on...

The court and country were stunned when the tyrant disbanded his harem and made a man his empress.

It was said that on their wedding night, the haughty emperor knelt by the bedside, reverently kissed his new empress's fingertips, and willingly humbled himself before him.
