The Powerful Minister's Savage Hound

Everyone in the capital knows that Chief Councillor Xie Cheny an is a cold, heartless tyrant with impossibly strict standards.

Then, one snowy day, the living Yama dragged a blood-soaked little madman who bit everyone he saw out of a pile of corpses.

The little madman was a defective killing machine, his mind destroyed by drugs.

He felt no pain, understood no human speech, and even slept crouched on the rafters like a beast.

Everyone in the manor kept their distance and urged their lord to beat the menace to death before he caused trouble.

Xie Cheny an merely wiped the blood from the bite on the back of his hand, unhurriedly, and said coolly,

"If you've come through the gates of the Xie residence, then you're my dog."

At first, Yan Xue knew nothing of rules.

Xie Cheny an didn't indulge him. With a ruler, enforced standing, and hands-on discipline, he used the harshest methods to force the savage creature, bit by bit, to live by his rules.

Later, the Xie residence was attacked.

Amid the assassins' deadly formation, the little monster who usually couldn't be bothered to hold chopsticks suddenly sprang up like a ghost, crushing throats with a blunt blade and killing dozens of elite assassins in an instant.

Just as everyone thought this demon was about to slaughter them all,

Xie Cheny an, seated in the place of honor, uttered three cold words:

"Get back here."

To everyone's horror, the blood-soaked demon, its killing intent surging, froze on the spot.

He put away his knife, obediently walked over, knelt beside Xie Cheny an's feet, and practicedly brought his head to rest in the man's palm.

Xie Cheny an wiped the blood from his face with a handkerchief, his tone exasperated yet indulgent:

"You've dirtied the Xie residence's clothes. Go back and take your punishment."
