[Western Crossover] Nothing Is Certain but Death and Taxes

As everyone knows, you can commit countless crimes in America, but there is one thing you must never forget: Pay your taxes. Whether you're Iron Man or the Joker, in Los Angeles or at a restaurant on the edge of the universe, or secretly controlling an intelligence agency called S.H.I.E.L.D., you must always keep this in mind. Merlin Kenway is the IRS's hottest criminal investigation agent. He's currently undercover at a multinational conglomerate called Abstergo Industries, dating a black-haired, blue-eyed employee with a very nice ass while investigating the mysteries surrounding the company. According to reliable sources, the group is involved in serious tax fraud. "Your surname is Kenway...?" The CEO of Abstergo narrowed his eyes. Merlin, whose DNA had been identified as carrying that of the Grand Master of the Templar Order, didn't bat an eye. As he left, he exchanged a glance with his reliable informants: the guy at the front desk and the female delivery courier. --- You foolish Templars! I took your ledger with me, hidden under my shoe! --- And as for the ex-boyfriend he'd dumped amicably three seconds ago after giving his ass a pat? --- Ah, that guy was supposedly Agent 37, more or less in the same line of work. They each had their own path to follow. Merlin pushed up his metal-rimmed glasses. He was going to miss his ex-boyfriend's fine ass. So, where was his next stop...? Bludhaven! The Bludhaven cop who had just been dumped for the Nth time: Haah-choo! Theme: Remember to pay your taxes, dear.
