[A seemingly cold but possessive, ghostly top × a timid, foolish little ghost bottom who just wants free meals]
No one in City A dares to mess with Wen Zhixu.
Ten years ago, he was recognized as the real young master of the Yu family. He’s ruthless and cold-hearted.
Because he’s never shown interest in women, rumors have spread that he’s impotent.
But lately, although he used to spend almost twenty-four hours a day at the office, he’s started going home every day. He leaves late at night and comes back at dawn, his collar loose and his eyes brimming with satisfaction.
People outside say he’s keeping a lover hidden away, but nobody knows the one Wen Zhixu is hiding isn’t human. He’s hiding a ghost.
A very, very foolish little ghost.
*
Yu Qiu is the most useless little ghost in history.
He can’t find food, he can’t scare anyone, and he’s even forgotten how he died.
To keep from starving to death, he carefully picked a villa that “smelled delicious” and decided to become a housebound spirit who could eat his fill and wait for death.
But when he moved in, he discovered there was no food! There were only bowls!
Yu Qiu curled up in a grumpy little ball and drew circles on the floor. Suddenly, the front door opened.
“Ahhh! A ghost!!!!!!”
Yu Qiu leaped up in fright and was about to run when a pair of strong arms clamped around his waist.
The man looked down at him, his thumb brushing over the back of his neck. He chuckled.
“Caught you, Qiuqiu.”
Yu Qiu was so hungry his head was spinning. When he smelled the man, all he could think about was eating.
After finally getting a good meal, he thanked the man with tears in his eyes. “Thank you. You’re such a good person.”
“You’re welcome.” Wen Zhixu accepted his good-person card and happily pulled Yu Qiu into his arms.
He’d waited a whole ten years for this moment.

Yu Qiu foolishly thought he’d found a long-term meal ticket. Food appeared whenever he opened his mouth, and life was wonderful.
But there was a price to having a meal ticket:
Wen Zhixu said that essence was highly nourishing, and told him to eat a little more.
Yu Qiu nodded, still confused. But then
“Mm… I think I ate too much.”
Yu Qiu’s head spun. His belly was swollen. Would he get fired?
