[Tentatively updating every other day] [Chapter comments are open]
[Includes a little U17 content (chapters 20–25); mainly Prince of Tennis. The timeline is a mess, and my memory is terrible. I often forget what I wrote earlier by the time I get to the later chapters, QAQ. I’ll revise the whole story after it’s complete.]
Recommending my upcoming Yukimura pairing, “The Little Sprite Was Kidnapped to Rikkaidai” (includes reader comments). Blurb at the end.

“As long as I play the villain, work will never come looking for me!”
Nanami Kaedeharu, The Villain’s Handbook
*
If he had done something wrong, they should have made him eat rice balls so disgusting that only his idiot older brother would touch them. They shouldn’t have...
made him, a jujutsu sorcerer, get dragged off for no reason by some lousy System that called itself “Soccer Dominance” and forced him to play soccer!
If it were just ordinary soccer, Nanami Kaedeharu could at least treat it as a way to relax. But why, even when he was just playing soccer, did he also have to...
“Trash belongs in the trash can!”
“I’ll devour you!”
“Isn’t it only despair enough when talentless people give up soccer?”
“...”
Dark thoughts spawned creatures that ordinary people couldn’t see, and the entire field was nearly shrouded in black miasma.
Nanami Kaedeharu could only diligently exorcise curses every day. But as the curses kept multiplying, he finally lost his patience
“You bunch of bastards!”
His beautiful blond hair whipped in the wind as he charged out like a mighty lion, and the ball slammed into the net.
Nanami Kaedeharu finished the job in no time, becoming Blue Lock’s No. 1 ahead of schedule and completing the System’s mission with room to spare.
The System was so startled that it packed him up and sent him back. But something still wasn’t right.
Nanami Kaedeharu looked at his noticeably shorter height and smaller build, then recalled the System’s parting words:
“Mission complete. The System has granted you a de-aging effect. You can undo it by accumulating athletic experience. Goodbye!”
Nanami Kaedeharu: ...Lousy System.
*
When he passed a group of boys whose uniforms perfectly matched his taste, Nanami Kaedeharu signed up without a second thought.
“Rikkaidai Tennis Club.”
“No matter what, I just have to follow the handbook, right?” Nanami Kaedeharu had thought tennis would be easy.
He had never imagined he’d run into super!natural!tennis!
Murderous tennis! Terrifying!
As a villain, how could he possibly be weaker than the protagonist?!
The cursed technique he’d always considered useless, [Villain’s Guide], finally proved its worth.
Whenever he played tennis, his cursed energy surged, letting him easily wipe out curses.
*
Nanami Kaedeharu absolutely loves desserts.
And since his love of desserts didn’t fit his villain persona, he’d gone from eating them in public to sneaking them in private.
But after he shrank, he could finally set aside his villainous airs and shop for desserts at all the famous pastry shops without a care.
“Were they really sold out again?” Hearing the white-haired man exclaim at the counter, Nanami Kaedeharu didn’t even look up. He stayed in his seat and continued eating the last one he’d just managed to buy.
“Oh! Aren’t you Nanami’s little brother? Sneaking off to eat desserts all by yourself!”
The white-haired man acted as if they were close, despite being the only one who knew the other existed, and helped himself to the last piece of dessert.
Nanami Kaedeharu: ...
Villains are supposed to hate cats.
*
When Nanami’s older brother first learned that his little brother, who’d been missing for ages, had finally been found, he couldn’t help worrying.
Watching his little brother go on about “villains,” “bastards,” and “I’ll devour you”...
Nanami Kento’s whole world came crashing down.
He felt as if someone had led his little brother astray, as if his little brother was turning into a villain.
To save his little brother’s conscience and get him back on the right path as soon as possible, Nanami Kento thought it over carefully before deciding to ask someone for help.
“Gojo...”
*
Much later, Nanami would deeply regret leaving his little brother in Gojo’s care.
5t5, give me my little brother back!
[Reader’s Guide]
1. The protagonist has only shrunk temporarily.
2. In this version, the protagonist is Nanami’s younger brother, and Nanami is a devoted big brother.
3. No angst, and the Shibuya Incident won’t be covered. The protagonist has a cheat, and he’ll be max-level while grinding monsters all the way through. (Definitely.)
4. Includes U17 content.
5. Rikkaidai will win three championships in a row!
6. OOC warning, with mountains of creative liberties.
⭐️Here’s the upcoming story “The Little Sprite Was Kidnapped to Rikkaidai”⭐️
Blurb:
An Ci is a thumb-sized little sprite. According to modern sprite customs, he sneaks into human homes to “borrow” things, then leaves something in return, perhaps a tiny bit of nectar or a blessing.
He loves flying up to the second-floor balcony. Food appears there like clockwork every day. He’s always very careful, though, afraid of being spotted by the room’s young owner, Yukimura.
Until one day, as he was carrying food, his foot slipped and he fell straight down.
A warm hand caught him securely.
An Ci: “Gukji!!!”
Oh no, the little human has found him.
·
From then on, An Ci and the little human gradually grew closer. He sincerely offered him a blessing: may Yukimura go further and further on his tennis journey.
It turned out that even a sprite’s blessing had its limits.
[Is this Ryoma’s golden finger? How did it end up with Rikkaidai’s captain?]
[So cute, I want to keep him]
[Yukimura hasn’t gotten sick yet at this point]
An Ci stared blankly at the comments that had appeared out of thin air. His wings stopped flapping in fright, and he nearly fell again. From the lines drifting past, he pieced together a few things about the “future”:
1. A great demon king named “Ryoma” would defeat the little human.
2. The little human would come down with a serious illness.
3. Rikkaidai, led by the little human, would lose the Kanto tournament.
4. He was supposed to be that “Ryoma’s” golden finger.
5. He seemed able to grow bigger, but he didn’t know what triggered it.
From then on, An Ci was on high alert around anyone with “Ryoma” in their name and checked the comments every single day without fail.
When he met the little human’s friend Sanada, a comment drifted by: [The kindhearted guy who goes easy on Ryoma].
An Ci flew up to Sanada with his hands on his hips and warned him angrily, “If you don’t play at your real level, you don’t deserve to play tennis!”
Sanada: “...?”
Go easy on him? Me?
When he saw Rikkaidai’s regulars again, comment after comment complained about them “going easy” on people. An Ci decided to give each of them a talking-to, determined not to let the comments’ prediction come true.
“I’m your friend too, but if you go easy on your friends, I won’t talk to you anymore!”
The sight of a little sprite scolding them with his hands on his hips somehow made the tennis boys obediently nod. An Ci nodded with satisfaction and, before he knew it, had become everyone’s favorite.
Until one day, An Ci got lost, and the comments suddenly flooded the screen before him
[Ryoma! Ryoma!]
[Come claim your golden finger!!]
An Ci trembled as he looked at the short boy in the distance, the legendary great demon king “Ryoma.”
By chance, the other boy spotted him too.
A tennis ball struck him squarely, making his eyes spin. When An Ci opened them again, the great demon king was holding him in his palm.
An Ci: Scared.jpg.
Later, he was caught by Atobe from Hyotei too. Atobe studied him for a moment, then raised an eyebrow and smiled. “Hmm? Something this magnificent deserves to belong to me.”
After all the twists and turns, An Ci finally flapped his wings and dove behind the little human, Yukimura, frantically wishing: If only I could grow bigger too...
The moment the thought crossed his mind, a gentle light suddenly surrounded him. He really did start growing, bigger and bigger.
Afterward, he realized from the comments that [that was the plot from another world]
And he wasn’t anyone’s golden finger. He was just an ordinary little sprite.
