[HP & MJ] Showbiz? No, I'm Off to Boarding School to Save the World!

Currently updating on a fixed schedule at 6 a.m. every day. I have over 200,000 characters written ahead. I'll let you know in advance if I change the update time or frequency, take a break, or revise the story.

Edited 26.6.28: It's finals week for the author. After the scheduled chapters run out, updates will probably stop for about half a month.

Story-focused synopsis:

Until he saw Privet Drive on a map, Evander Jackson had always thought his reborn life was going to follow an 1980s Hollywood script. With his knowledge of the future and a little "special ability," he would make Michael Jackson's life safer and smoother.

It wasn't until the frail "protagonist" appeared before him that he suddenly realized he had already stepped into the beginning of another fantastical tale.

And so...

Harry Potter gained a confidant in the form of an older brother;

Michael Jackson freely explored the magical Wizarding World;

Cedric Diggory went on adventures with his friends;

Please note:

A Harry Potter and Michael Jackson crossover, incorporating elements from Hogwarts Legacy (HPL). The writing has a fairy-tale feel and isn't very realistic (in the author's opinion).

The early story leans more toward MJ, with more everyday life; later parts may focus more on HP and have more plot.

The original protagonist, Evander Jackson, was born on June 25, 1978. He has a past life and rebirth, was Chinese in his past life, and experienced trauma.

The HP section includes original characters, and the Jackson family is depicted from a subjective perspective (purely subjective). Michael's romantic life is only mentioned in connection with Diana Ross (so his other three biological children have been written out of the story; apologies in advance).

The story is told mainly from the male lead's perspective, with no set pairing. There may be romances or one-sided love, but the author hasn't decided yet.

The author is a woman writing a male protagonist, so the gender perspective may be somewhat skewed.

There is character OOC. Please discuss things civilly, and let the author know if you spot any mistakes. Paragraph comments are enabled.

I do not glorify any abuse or bullying. The Dursley family, the Marauders, and Snape are all portrayed negatively, so fans of just one character, please take note.

No Dumbledore conspiracy theories. Some canon pairings are broken up, there is GGAD content, and Voldemort is not treated sympathetically.

All details follow the novels. If they conflict with the films, the novels take precedence unless otherwise specified.

I'll try to keep the MJ sections faithful to reality and prevent some tragedies from happening. The author will do her best to research, but she's new to the MJ fandom, and her writing ability and time are limited, so mistakes are inevitable. Please be understanding.

I believe I'm the first person on the entire internet to think of this bizarre crossover, haha.

This may lean toward everyday life and plot. The author writes whatever comes to mind. It started out as something written for my own enjoyment, so there will be a lot of personal indulgences.

No bashing of Slytherin or Gryffindor, and no conspiracy theories. Canon fans, welcome.

The Dursley family, Snape, the four Marauders, and the Malfoy family are all portrayed negatively. Abuse, bullying, and discrimination are not glorified, so fans of just one character, please take note.

There is GGAD and content featuring many canon pairings, though some pairings are broken up. There are original characters and alternate characterizations of canon characters who only have names in the original.

There are subjective opinions about Michael's family (purely subjective), and plenty of OOC.

Currently planned as no pairing, with an MJ family focus. The author is female and the protagonist is male, so the writing inevitably reflects certain preferences.

Inspired by the MJ biopic I recently watched, and the fact that the author is a Harry Potter fan. Putting the two together turned the author into an idea machine. There are many personal indulgences (mainly MJ), and the protagonist isn't overpowered.

Synopsis:

When Evander Jackson found out he was Michael Jackson's adopted son, he thought he was in a Hollywood story.

When he discovered that he could make "wishes come true" and ease Michael's pain, he thought he was in a modern supernatural story.

When he toured with Michael in 1988 and saw a "Privet Drive" that didn't exist on the map, he finally realized he was in a magical adventure!

Use potions and spells to heal Michael's burns, the Disillusionment Charm and the Invisibility Cloak to shield him from the public eye, and Polyjuice Potion to take him on a grand adventure;

Give Harry a close friend early, save Hogwarts champion Cedric from the Killing Curse, let Nymphadora and Lupin live happily together, and have the twins run the greatest joke shop together...

Since we're here, we might as well save them first!

The author is an idea machine and is currently working on a big plot for the Goblet of Fire.
