Forget Building, Let's Farm!

A century ago, nuclear radiation broke out, and Guidao City was buried beneath the ruins.

Fortunately, people could still live there, and some even awakened supernatural abilities.

Unfortunately, because their powers and mental states were unstable, they were trapped there for life.

Their powers were too strong, and their minds were desperate for soothing. People became feral beasts, and war broke out again and again. Blood and rage made up their entire lives.

"Where did we come from? Where should we go? What meaning is there in living when we're cut off from the outside world?"

These anguished questions, cried out in blood, had no answers.

Then the new mayor scratched his head and stuffed a big handful of bright red roses into the mouth of a mentally unstable citizen, whose jaws were gaping wide.

"I grow flowers," said the new mayor. "I came here to grow flowers, plant crops, and plant trees."

The citizens: ???

Wait, weren't you supposed to build up the city and revitalize Guidao City, win our trust, then betray us and leave to get revenge on the enemy who sent you here?!

After graduating, Luo Tang spent two years lying flat at home, still muddling through life. Recently, she finally found a game online that was just what she wanted.

She could decorate her rental however she liked, raise chickens on the rooftop, and rob the neighboring NPC's warehouse to grow vegetables and flowers.

Oh my god! It was so liberating!

As for the things written in the game's quest log, like "Develop Guidao City," "Look after the citizens' mental health," and "Raise your own reputation"...

What did any of that have to do with her as a player?

Did that [–999] reputation, the city's development level, and the citizens' health stats really need saving?

What do you mean, Guidao City: Mayor Simulator? Damn it, I could tell at a glance this was really The Player's Retirement Guide 1234567!
