[Harry Potter] Diary of a Dark Lord in the Making

Tom Riddle found a diary.

The diary said his name was Tom Riddle, too.

On Christmas Eve, 1932, Tom Riddle received his Christmas present.

A perfectly clean notebook, a rare thing in an orphanage.

In the punishment room, he tried writing in the notebook with a pen. Beneath his words, a line of elegant cursive slowly appeared.

"Hello."

"Were you being bullied?"

His breathing suddenly grew heavier as Tom Riddle stared intently at the words.

After who knew how long, apparently deciding he had been silent for too long, the elegant script spoke up again.

"Sorry, did what I said upset you?"

"My name is Riddle, Tom Riddle. What about you?"
