The British Goalposts Rebel on the National Team

Kates was an English goalkeeper, an excellent keeper who never fumbled in a country full of butter-fingered goalkeepers. Naturally, Kates became England's first-choice keeper.

But have England ever had a decent manager? First there was Eriksson, who made the headlines with multiple affairs and eventually the WAG scandal. "Eden, your girlfriend keeps such a close eye on you. She even calls to remind you if you don't send her a photo of your lunch?"

Hazard smiled calmly. "Because she loves me so much."
