The Cthulhu Madman Has His Eyes on Sherlock Holmes

Mushrooms, mycelium, countless connections, plants and trees mingling with a foul fragrance.

As he pursues history, Yi Wei gains a wondrous ability, one that may be evil, or perhaps a gift from God.

He doesn't feel any different, except that he can acquire the traits of other creatures with astonishing ease.

Dogs have a keen sense of smell. All he has to do is take one apart and eat it, and that trait becomes his.

And there's a cat's nimbleness, plants' ability to photosynthesize, an owl's night vision...

Then Yi Wei discovers a person with an astonishingly clever brain. He wants him!

Sherlock Holmes realizes there's a dangerous person by his side. This person has physical abilities far beyond the ordinary, and always looks at him with longing and open adoration.

It looks like love, but it absolutely isn't, because Holmes can see the naked desire in the other's eyes!

This is an evil, mad, indescribable entity, already tainted by history.

Could such a creature really exist? Ha! He's always been intensely curious about new things. He'll find out what this thing is, and make absolutely sure it doesn't hurt anyone else!

PS: Sherlock as he appears in the original works, with Lovecraftian horror. This is a new attempt, and things will get pretty dark. The protagonist's values don't represent the author's, and he'll gradually get better. Archived 2025.10.15.

"Meow and My Little Brother Sherlock Meow": Meow picked up a little brother. He's so ugly that he only has hair on top of his head, and so silly he can't even hunt for himself. He rushes around all day just to earn a tiny piece of meat. He has to wear ugly human clothes, a hat that makes cats itch, and smoke something that smells awful to cats. But this little brother is sort of useful, since he gave Meow his territory.

Since that's the case, Meow will lead this slightly misshapen, exceptionally tall Sherlock Meow to earn lots of meat!

Huh? Why won't Sherlock Meow eat the mice Meow catches? Why does he insist that Meow dunk them in that bitter coffee before eating them?

Holmes gets adopted by a cat who insists on sticking to him. It's a sleek black cat, completely black from head to tail. It leaps onto his shoulder and meows incessantly, forcing him to take it in.

Well, since this black cat helped him catch a thief, keeping a lucky black cat around can't hurt.

But the cat knocks his pipe away whenever he smokes. Later, it even hides his tobacco, claws his silk top hat until it's fuzzy, insists he wear a fluffy wool shawl, and drops mice into his coffee...

Why doesn't Watson, who lives with him, get treated this way?

But the cat helps him find clues and catch criminals, so he can put up with a few things.

He's willing to take in this obviously very clever little black cat.

But one day, Holmes sees the little black cat transform into a grown man, sitting on his bed and bawling: "My fur! I don't want to turn into an ugly, deformed Sherlock Meow!"

"After Becoming Chairman of an English League One Team": Senas never expected to get something as wondrous as a System, and especially not after a car accident.

To save him, the System chose a golden finger that would let him survive: the ability to earn money when injured, along with an extraordinary healing ability that would ensure his body always recovered completely!

Senas: ??? Hello? He's not a masochist!

But when he sees ten million pounds deposited into his account as an insurance payout, Senas decides it might not be so bad.

But getting hurt really hurts! Maybe he should just use the money to lie flat!

Then he learns that the ability can benefit the employees under his management, too. He earns money when an employee is injured, and they also have extraordinary healing abilities. Senas realizes he might have found himself a legitimate job.

He can buy an English League One club and become its owner. Athletes are the most likely to get injured, especially in contact sports, and their healing ability would be put to good use!

After their club is bought, the players at Brentford, also known as the Bees, realize that this owner is much better than the previous one. He spends money on building them a cafeteria, hires sports medicine specialists, raises their wages, and is willing to pay to buy players. He's only in his twenties, but he looks at them like a father looking at his sons.

They think it's wonderful. They seem to be in better shape than before, too, and, full of fighting spirit, they rise to the Championship under their head coach.

Senas: ??? Are his players really that good? Well, the money comes from the players anyway, so he might as well raise their wages and improve the club's facilities!

As their league results keep improving and promotion to the Premier League seems within reach, Senas realizes there's a problem: he needs a new coach. His team's head coach resigns of his own accord, saying that getting the team into the Championship this year and nearly winning promotion has been an exceptional performance. No matter how the team does at the end of the season, he intends to resign when it ends!

System: The employee draw feature is now available. Complete tasks in each draw scenario to earn coach shards. Collect enough shards to receive that coach's contract and appoint them as the team's head coach!

Senas takes a look. The card pool is sparkling with stars: Ferguson, Ancelotti, Wenger, Mourinho, Guardiola...

Good heavens.

But when Senas draws a Ferguson shard and arrives at the boot-throwing incident, he finds out he has to get a boot signed by Ferguson and Beckham...

Senas: Let him die!
