Beibei was the only white clam in the sea. Not only did he come ashore, he also took in a shabby human.

On the first day of taking care of a human, the human changed his water to painfully cold seawater and gave him horribly disgusting seaweed.

It was fine. Beibei put up with it.

On the thirtieth day of taking care of a human, the water was still just as cold, and the seaweed was still just as disgusting.

It was fine. Beibei tried to escape...but, but he failed!

The human he was caring for pinched Beibei's shell and warned him darkly, "If you keep running off, I'll stop taking care of you."

Beibei was so angry he couldn't sleep for several days. Then, for the first time ever, someone picked him up and put him on the bed to sleep. Beibei was so comfortable, he nearly turned into a human.

Who would've thought he really would turn into one!

Now that he was human, Beibei decided to be a little snail boy and fatten up the person he was caring for.

The first rule of taking care of someone: No clothes with holes in them!

Beibei diligently sewed up every single one of the human's clothes, including a pair of underwear with three holes.

The second rule of taking care of someone: Never go hungry!

Beibei studied advanced technology and tried to cook like a human. He succeeded in...blowing up the kitchen.

Beibei, his face black with soot, silently crossed out the second rule.

The third rule of taking care of someone: Find them a partner!

Beibei paced around, thinking for ages, but couldn't come up with a suitable partner. Then he looked around and realized the house looked like it had been raided by bandits.

Beibei sensed something was very wrong. He wiggled his bottom and ran away.

He just never expected the human to actually call the police!

Beibei stood naked, stubbornly staring down the human holding a pair of underwear with the legs he'd mended, along with the police officers beside him.

The human sneered. "Officer, this is the pervert I told you about."

Fu Shengyi had run into a ghost. A pervert had appeared out of nowhere in his home, not only sewing up his underwear but also trashing his house.

At the police station, the other guy kept insisting that he was Fu Shengyi's pet.

Seeing the police give him a suggestive look, Fu Shengyi was so furious the veins at his temples throbbed.

The police gave them time to sort things out. The other guy grabbed Fu Shengyi's hand pitifully and said he was the white clam, the clam who had raised him.

Fu Shengyi's worldview crumbled. He told the guy to say something no one else knew.

White Clam gritted his teeth and shouted, "Your little thing is huge!"

White Clam held out his hands to show him. "It's this big!"

Fu Shengyi's body shook. With his ears turning red, he covered White Clam's mouth and took him home.

After they got home, Fu Shengyi was busy cleaning up and had no time to pay attention to White Clam.

But that night, White Clam took Fu Shengyi's hand and placed it on his soft little belly, tears in his eyes as he sobbed:

"You put a little pearl in me. You have to take responsibility."
