The Consequences of Provoking an Ultraman

"Don't mess with Ultraman fighters. If you don't understand how the world works these days, there's a 100% chance your fake death will backfire."

Jiang Ye died suddenly and bonded with a System. It told him that completing missions would not only bring him back to life, but also earn him billions in prize money.

He couldn't help being tempted.

To max out Belial's affection, he provoked him every day: picking a fight every three days and giving him the cold shoulder every two. The System said Belial liked strong people, after all.

Once his affection was maxed out, Jiang Ye faked his death and moved on to his next target.

But System, you never told me the universes in this world could merge!!!

With a group of Ultraman fighters blocking his way, Jiang Ye shuddered and forced a smile. His body, however, was firmly restrained, and he couldn't move an inch.

Belial thought he'd been cursed with the worst luck in the universe. He'd run into a sharp-tongued guy who was, annoyingly, pretty capable.

The guy brought color to his dull life. Gradually, they became inseparable, and Belial grew used to having him around, so carefree and close.

Before long, he even found himself harboring secret thoughts he shouldn't have had.

Then the guy died right before his eyes, without leaving behind so much as a single particle of light.

Belial went mad.

Young Zero resented the teacher who'd appeared out of nowhere, so he was determined to be difficult.

Who could have guessed the other man wouldn't care at all, and would even teach him with patience and kindness? Young Zero, who had no parents, gradually softened toward him. He became clingy, grew fond of him, and wanted to make him happy. So he worked hard to become the top student in his class, hoping to keep all the man's attention on him.

Then an accident made the man disappear.

Zero decided he was too weak and reached for forbidden power.

When he finally saw the person he'd longed for again, he was in the arms of the Emperor of the Galactic Empire.
