Highway Survival: I'm the Only Bing

Blurb:

Ji Qian was the founding master of the modern-day B-king scene.

From snatching little red flowers in kindergarten to fighting for the spotlight at company galas, he'd spent twenty years showing off in every way imaginable. His track record was thicker than an annual report.

Until one day, desperate to outshine his rival, he insisted on holding an outdoor drone light show during a thunderstorm. A bolt of purple lightning struck him squarely on the crown of his head.

He'd shown off too hard. Dead.

When Ji Qian opened his eyes again, he was at the starting point of a highway survival game.

Black fog chased after them, monsters attacked one after another, and nearly every player was panicking and despairing.

Ji Qian glanced at the System panel, and the urge to show off stirred in him once again:

There are tens of billions of players! He had to put on a spectacular show and claim the top spot. Otherwise, what would be the point of getting struck by lightning and landing here?

First in the beginner period, first on the points leaderboard, first on the supplies leaderboard...

The competition grew fiercer with every new leaderboard. Some steadily climbed the ranks, while others shone briefly and faded.

But Ji Qian alone remained seated at the top from beginning to end.

Some said he was a hidden master. Others said he was a military special envoy. Still others swore he had to be the System's favorite.

Faced with praise, probing questions, and speculation from all sides, Ji Qian merely smiled:

My name is Ji Qian. The Qian means modest.
