My Childhood Friend Turned into a Ghost and Came Looking for Me

*A short story available through the monthly subscription plan

Wu Qian is a very bad little blind boy, an absolute menace!

Ever since the death of the only older boyhood friend who ever cared for him, everyone has bullied him.

His birth parents wanted to sell him, so when they got into a car accident, Wu Qian felt nothing but satisfaction. They got what they deserved.

The person next door was always spying on him, so when the neighbor's place caught fire, Wu Qian hid in his own home, secretly delighted and wishing he could celebrate.

He's a gloomy little blind boy. The worse things get for other people, the happier he is!

So when he discovered there was a ghost in his house, Wu Qian thought his comeuppance had finally arrived.

The ghost wandered around his home every day, and Wu Qian could feel its presence at all times.

One night, the ghost climbed into bed and lay down beside him.

Wu Qian thought the ghost was going to hurt him, but it only held him as they slept.

He couldn't see that the ghost had the face of his older boyhood friend.

*He's called a little brat, but really he's just a pitiful little thing.
